In his book "the age of less" David Bosshart draws a vivid metaphor regarding dissynchronization: "We have experienced impressively that the technology is racing forward in the jet plane, so to speak. Technology companies, which are drivers and revolutionize business models today, need much less time to gain global attention and recognition and assert themselves with their offerings. As far as management is concerned, we are more at Porsche's pace when it comes to implementing successful business models. Just as we organize ourselves socially, privately and commercially, as we manage interfaces, manage departments, we are at best on the road at cycling speed."
